Title:
ACTIVITIES FOB A SIXTH GRADE SCIENCE UNIT ON THE SOLAR SYSTEM, MATTER AND ENERGY
Authors:
Anderson, David B.
Abstract:
Of all the subjects taught in the sixth grade, science is the one that conceivably should challenge the abilities and excite the interest of the greatest proportion of students. From abstract conjecture about life on Mars to contemplation of the hairs on a fly’s leg--all the myriad things of this world and beyond are encompassed in the study of science. The problem is, how can the elementary teacher best tap this potential reservoir of learning experience?
